How FeedView Inventory Monitoring Works

1. Sensor Installation

BinMaster’s FeedView uses battery-powered level sensors specially designed for feed silos. These sensors:

  • Mount on the top of the bin, on the roof or hatch
  • Measure feed levels in bins up to 50 feet tall
  • Take and log continuous level readings
  • Communicate via LoRa wireless to a gateway

2. Data Transmission & Cloud Storage

Sensor data is relayed via a gateway to the FeedView cloud platform.

You can access live inventory levels via web, tablet, or mobile app.

3. Feed Management Interface

FeedView’s dashboard lets you:

  • Track multiple bins and feed groups
  • Assign and monitor feed rations and batch types
  • Project consumption and run-out dates
  • Project timing for future feed orders
  • Enable access to feed mills or suppliers
  • Generate historical reports for audits and optimization
