How FeedView Inventory Monitoring Works
1. Sensor Installation
BinMaster’s FeedView uses battery-powered level sensors specially designed for feed silos. These sensors:
- Mount on the top of the bin, on the roof or hatch
- Measure feed levels in bins up to 50 feet tall
- Take and log continuous level readings
- Communicate via LoRa wireless to a gateway
2. Data Transmission & Cloud Storage
Sensor data is relayed via a gateway to the FeedView cloud platform.
You can access live inventory levels via web, tablet, or mobile app.
3. Feed Management Interface
FeedView’s dashboard lets you:
- Track multiple bins and feed groups
- Assign and monitor feed rations and batch types
- Project consumption and run-out dates
- Project timing for future feed orders
- Enable access to feed mills or suppliers
- Generate historical reports for audits and optimization

BinMaster sensors and FeedView cloud software collaborate to deliver data securely and in real time.
