A tilt switch detects rising levels of powders and solids and activates an alert when the device is tilted to 15 degrees. It is commonly used for high level detection in silos, over conveyor belts, in open pits, over piles, or for plugged chute detection.
BinMaster offers the BM-T tilt switch which is hung or suspended over the control point. Its simple design and just one moving part makes it ideal for rugged operations such as grain, sand, gravel, or aggregates. The BM-TSM is for fixed mounting on top of a vessel or in a static location over a conveyor belt. Its mercury-free design and hazardous location approvals ensure product safety, even in high dust environments.
