The analog expansion hub—AEH—was designed to simplify setting up a sensor network. The AEH is a convenient solution to connect analog sensors to a single BinCloud® gateway or any other client software. An ideal application for the AEH is to upgrade an existing sensor system to a Cloud-based network. The AEH allows for scalability when connecting analog devices to a single BinCloud® gateway, supporting hundreds of hubs connected to a single gateway or client. It is used to take in analog inputs from sensors that can be read by a client via RS-485 or TCP.
