Application: Finished S-PVC vinyl resins are stored in storage silos prior to being delivered or packaged.
Challenges: S-PVC in a PVC production facility is the finished product. The end user seeks to closely monitor the inventory levels, but this is difficult due to the amount of dust generated when the silo is filled. The relatively low dielectric constant of the material makes measuring the level or volume of the stored S-PVC very challenging for any radar technology.
